Product Introduction: Crosshead Crosshead is a core sliding transmission part installed in the power end of triplex mud pumps, widely used in oil drilling, geological exploration and horizontal directional trenchless construction. It connects connecting rod, crosshead pin and piston rod, converting the rotary motion of crankshaft into straight reciprocating motion to drive the piston to complete mud suction and discharge. The main body is integrally forged from high-strength alloy steel, followed by quenching and tempering strengthening treatment, with excellent impact resistance and bearing capacity. The sliding outer surface is precision machined and wear-resistant reinforced, which can bear long-term alternating impact load and friction inside the crosshead guide without rapid wear, scratching or deformation. The middle pin hole is finely processed to cooperate tightly with crosshead pin, equipped with lubricating oil groove to ensure sufficient lubrication during high-speed reciprocating movement and avoid dry friction overheating. The front end threaded interface is matched with piston rod, with reliable self-locking performance to prevent loosening under continuous vibration. Standard dimensional parameters realize good interchangeability with crosshead guides, connecting rods and crosshead pin guards of most mainstream mud pump models. The whole surface is treated with anti-rust coating to resist erosion of lubricating oil, mud and humid outdoor environment. Integral forming structure reduces assembly gaps and running vibration, effectively lowering eccentric wear of liners and pistons. It can be quickly disassembled together with related accessories during routine maintenance, shortening equipment shutdown time. As a key force transmission component linking power end and fluid end, it stabilizes pump output flow and pressure, greatly reduces the failure rate of vulnerable parts, and supports long-term stable and safe operation of the whole mud Pump Unit.
